Balance Bike

The Balance Bike Project was done During my 2nd year (Humber College). It was a group project done by myself and Mitchell Wiley (MitcheWiley.com). The project was highly focused on ergonomics and designing for the growth of a young child. This put extra importance on having a dimensionally accurate model.

After some sketching a concept was chosen. Further work was done on creating proper proportions. This was accomplished through multiple 3D printed models at varying scales.

During this process a CAD model was constantly updating with every change that was made. Once the final dimensions were decided upon the CAD model was used as a template for cutting out the wood parts to make prototype.
